Food show and the week ahead
Monday, November 15th, 2004We went to the Food TV “Great Big Food Show” yesterday. It was crowded. I’m not a big fan of crowds. They make me uneasy. I used to love them, but I think the over-sold Gorillaz show in Toronto put me off of being in them or around them.
Anyway, we saw Alton Brown’s show. He did a thing about making jerky using furnace filters and a box fan. Interesting, but I don’t think I trust the stuff the filters are made of.
It’s going to be a busy week. Had school tonight. I got an A on my last Conflict & Communication exam. I have a hair cut tomorrow. Wednesday is my radio show and class that evening. Thursday we’re going to see Bob Mould. Friday evening I’m going to be at the open house at WCSB. Saturday we’re going to see Ted Leo / Pharmacists. Sunday I may go to the station for the 2nd day of open house, and that night we’re going to see The Pixies! Wooh!
I’m really looking forward to the Pixies show. I’ll probably play a lot of Pixies this Wednesday.
Happy week to you all!
P.S. You should listen to Boogiepop Does Not Smile on Monday mornings 9 - 11 A.M. EST.
