Weekend recap

Went to my side of the family’s Christmas get together. This was the only time we could get everyone together since we’re spread across the state. It was nice seeing everyone.
I got a Pittsburgh Penguins vest. It’s nice, but I’m sure the weather won’t allow me to use it until atleast March (stupid Smarch).
We tried going to the Machine Go Boom/Kiddo show last night at The Beachland Ballroom, but it was sold out. Good for them. It’s good to see the local bands getting support like that (even if the show cost you .99 cents).
So we went over to the new records store by the Beachland called Music Saves. A nice selection of indie rock with a little vinyl thrown in. We bought a Kiddo CD.

I got there before it sold out. How late did you go? I got there a little before 9:30.

Go see the Twilight if you ever get a chance. The drummer on Kiddo’s first album (Greg) was replaced a year ago, and now Greg is in the Twilight. They’re my second favorite Cleveland band after Kiddo. I think their CD is in the pushbox still. You should listen to it at some point and see if your wife likes that.

And look at your e-mail. I’m going to send you an MP3 of Kiddo’s latest single.

We didn’t get there till almost 11. We’re used to shows not starting till late and not selling out.
    Lesson learned.
Thanks for the MP3. I like it. I like it that they dirtied their stuff up a bit.
