Pixies CMJ/Rock Hall Fest

The Pixies will be opening up the CMJ/Rock Hall Fest. They’ll be playing at the Rock Hall and later the same night at the festival village.
Still no word on the local college stations involvement in the event. I know WCSB is planning on having some of the bands come to the station to play, but nothing official associated with the festival has been established.
Come on CMJ get off your duff. Get this thing done and stop worrying about your fall festival in NYC.

    I’d love to be a smartass and put on some sort of anti-CMJ show in my basement as a show of my immense, almost counter-indie hipness. The problem is, however, that I don’t have a basement. So, I can’t. And I wouldn’t know what bands to have, anyway.

    Someone is having something in public square on some of the days. (that’s a funny sentence)

    Break out the acoustic guitar and drum machine and play to the masses!
