Someone is having something in public square on some of the days. (that's a funny sentence)

Break out the acoustic guitar and drum machine and play to the masses!

I'd love to be a smartass and put on some sort of anti-CMJ show in my basement as a show of my immense, almost counter-indie hipness. The problem is, however, that I don't have a basement. So, I can't. And I wouldn't know what bands to have, anyway.

Yeah, what you say makes sense. Take a look now. Does this work better, or should it still be 7 am?

I'm not sure what I think. The advantage to having the top of the grid start from 7 a.m. is that it's somewhat aesthetically pleasing. On all but two days, we have shows beginning right at 7 a.m. We don't have shows that start immediately at midnight most days. So, I can see what 7 a.m. might be better.

If you are going to insist on midnight, though, put the name of whatever show is being continued from the 11 p.m. starting time of the day before at the top of the grid, too, so people don't have to look back to see the name of the show. Like at the top of the grid for Tuesday, you could put "Billie Club continued" or something like that.

Is this making sense?

We didn't get there till almost 11. We're used to shows not starting till late and not selling out.
Lesson learned.
Thanks for the MP3. I like it. I like it that they dirtied their stuff up a bit.

I got there before it sold out. How late did you go? I got there a little before 9:30.

Go see the Twilight if you ever get a chance. The drummer on Kiddo's first album (Greg) was replaced a year ago, and now Greg is in the Twilight. They're my second favorite Cleveland band after Kiddo. I think their CD is in the pushbox still. You should listen to it at some point and see if your wife likes that.

And look at your e-mail. I'm going to send you an MP3 of Kiddo's latest single.

You're not the first person to think about doing a database like that. It's not going to happen. The executive staff doesn't want it to happen. It would take forever to enter everything in. We'd have to get another paid executive staff position in order to even have a chance to do it with a semblance of efficiency. As good an idea as it might be, the time to do it would have been at the station's inception.

I had someone listening from Bulgaria today. It wasn't a surprise, though. I've known for
a while that there's someone in Bulgaria who listens to my show.

Great show, honey! The Husker Du-Pixies-Ted Leo trilogy was a nice touch, considering our multi-concert week. I loved the country set, but Dexter still hid under the covers. I used to think it was Pere Ubu that sent him into hiding, but now I’m fairly certain that any form of pre-dawn noise is simply unacceptable. Although he did try to take himself on a walk this morning, so perhaps the country set inspired him to hit the open road.
